what's your opinion?

I read an article called "Blogged down in a swamp of other people's opinions" by Mark Day.

It's based round one mans opinion on other people sharing their opinions...
and how the media reflects the publics opinion, do they give an accurate representation of what people are really thinking? or do they themselves create their own opinions and choose instead to broadcast that...

He states how blogging has become a new way for people to get their opinions accross, whereas before people in positions of power e.g. politicians, were the only ones to do this through the newspaper, TV etc.

In parts he suggests that now since anyone can get access to the internet, it is almost becoming polluted with opinions because some people seem to have an opinion on almost everything.

He expresses agitation when he says"Opinions are not outcomes. They have no meaning other than to express what you think", this quote shows how he is somewhat anti-blog despite him admiting he has recently begun writing one himself.

In my opinion the article is an example of someone wanting to be heard, and knowing they will be. And also wanting to spark a debate about whether or not the media reflect what peoples opinions really are.

Ironically the whole article is basically his opinion on people sharing their opinions through blogging, and this, has been my opinion on THAT.
